I photograph with a sense of responsibility because I understand how quickly moments disappear forever. When I am behind the camera, I am paying attention to what is unfolding in real time. The energy in a room. The silence between notes. The shift in expression. These are not just moments. They are records of culture moving. This work is personal.

The camera has not always been kind to us. Too often the images have been reductive, extreme, or detached from lived reality. I am intentional about doing something different.
